Kajsajuntti’s Rawpunk Forever is a “one-man noise assault” helmed by the guitarist and vocalist from Swedish raw crust/d-beat band Dispose. There’s not a huge difference between Dispose and Kajsajuntti, both deal in maelstrom waves of rough-and-ready hardcore. However, Kajsajuntti’s primitive approach is more fuzzed-out and awash with murky distortion than Dispose’s sharper-edged onslaughts. Rawpunk Forever pays due reverence to Disclose, Confuse, and the Shitlickers, with an unsettling sound akin to having a high-speed drill bore a hole in the side of your head.
